-
You leave a lasting legacy to be remembered.
-
You lessen the burden of taxes on your family.
-
You may receive estate tax and savings.
How do I make a bequest?
A bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make. With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift to be made to family, friends, or Spay Illinois Pet Well Clinics as part of your estate plan.
What are my options?
A bequest can be made in several ways:
-
You can gift a specific dollar amount or asset
-
You can gift a percentage of your estate
-
You can gift the balance or residue of your estate
-
You can make a beneficiary designation of certain assets
Gift of Cash or Securities
An outright gift of cash or securities is the simplest way of making a gift to Spay Illinois Pet Well Clinics. With this type of direct gift, the IRS allows you to take a charitable deduction equal to the gift’s fair market value on the date you made the gift.
Does your employer have a workplace giving program? If so, remember to include Spay Illinois in your mix of charitable giving.
There are many options for planned gift giving; you can contact your financial advisor to find what would work best for you and your family.
