Outdoor Educators are responsible for teaching classes of 15 (max) children typically grades 3-8 our Outdoor Education curriculum. Outdoor Educators may supervise students in the cabin with 1-3 schools giving them the opportunity to learn and refine essential life skills like communication, cooperation, organization and time management. Staff will turn over (clean the facilities) camp for the next group.
This is a residential position. Staff is ON for the arrival of students Monday through departure on Friday. Staff receives around 2 hours of breaks during the day and another potential 2 hours in the evening. Some experience supervising children and desire to learn and teach in an outdoor environment required.
