ADOPTED! Save a Stray Program
The Rescue Partners Program was created to help animals at risk of euthanasia to be placed into rescue groups that have open foster homes, but do not have the funds necessary to pay for the medical treatment of the animal.
SPAY ILLINOIS sponsors dogs & cats by making a donation to the receiving rescues veterinarian to help provide, spay/neuter, vaccines, micro-chipping, and other medical services as needed for the animal.
To participate in the program all receiving rescues must spay/neuter, vaccinate, and micro-chip all animals in their program before adoption. This includes all puppies and kittens; SPAY ILLINOIS does not accept spay/neuter contracts for puppies & kittens as a form of sterilization. If you need help finding a veterinarian that performs pediatric spay/neuter in your area please call our toll free line at 1-877-475-7729.
